Two of them reaches 44mm in terms of their diameter and the watches have the same size as the old ones. The most traditional cases-Luminor 1950-has a simple layout but a solid quality. The crown protection is applied to the Luminor Daylight and Luminor Black Seal. Pressure leverage can protect crown and makes sure that the water resist can reach 30 barometer. AISI 316L stainless steel, which is employed on Daylight and Black Sea, are processed with different paint-coat. Luminor Black Seal is coated by DLC, the Diamond-Like Carbon, which shapes black color and anti-scratch and solid. The case is completely sealed and is branded with Officin Panerai Firenze, the logo. Another difference found on two of them are the dial design. Luminor Daylight is fitted with a white dial whose time indexes are all numbers; but the Luminor Black Sea has a black dial and only some particular time indexes are expressed in numbers. Two have small seconds on the 9 o’clock. this design comes from the old designs and now becomes a typical feature on Panerai.
Two Luminor watches adhere to the 1996’s design but within the watch there is a great improvement: both are fitted with a P.5000 automatic winding movement and is designed and produced by Neuchatel watch plant. Besides, they has 8 days of power reserve. Movement is definitely solid as the two main plates cover most gears. The new Luminor has the different design from the old one and add features from PreVendome to it. In addition, the brown leather is sealed with flaxen strings, being strong contrast. Buckles and cases are the same in the material and the limited edition has two strap as backup.
